Pandanus sp (Berkeley)

This species of Pandanus has similarities to P.spiralis, except for smaller fruiting bodies, aerial roots, hairy trunks and few prickly leaves on spreading branches. From the beachfront at the Berkeley River.

Pandanus spiralis

Tall, multi-branched Pandanus Palm, with pricly leave and large fruiting bodies with woody fruits attached, dehiscing when dry and ripe. Seeds embedded inside fibrous body.
